Why the rate differs from your bank
The rate shown here is the market mid-rate - the midpoint between what banks buy and sell a currency for. Banks, money changers and card networks add their own margin on top, which is why the amount you actually receive when exchanging cash is usually a little less favourable than the mid-rate.
