The short version. All file conversions and calculations on ConvertProKit run entirely inside your own browser. Your files (images, PDFs, documents) are never uploaded to our servers. We do, however, use cookies for analytics and advertising - and you control these through our consent banner.

1. Who we are

This website, ConvertProKit ("we", "us", "our"), available at https://convertpk.org, provides free browser-based online tools. The platform is operated as a free web utility service, ensuring that user data protection and local privacy regulations are respected.

2. Files you process are not collected

The core tools (image converters, PDF tools, calculators, text and developer tools, etc.) operate client-side. The content you load is processed in your browser's memory and is never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by us or any third party. When you close or refresh the page, that data is gone.

3. Data we do process

To run, secure and fund the site we use a small number of third-party services that may process limited personal data such as your IP address, device/browser information and usage events:

Google Analytics 4 - anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, approximate region, device type) to understand traffic. Sets analytics cookies. Loaded only after you consent.
Google AdSense - displays ads that help keep the site free. May set advertising cookies and use your data for personalised or non-personalised ads, based on your consent choice.
Cloudflare - our hosting and security provider, which processes server log data (including IP address) to deliver and protect the site. This is necessary for the service to function.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

For visitors in the EU/EEA and the UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) - for analytics and advertising cookies. You give this through the consent banner and can withdraw it at any time.
Legitimate interest / necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)) - for essential hosting, security and delivery of the website.

We do not retain your files. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (default 14 months). Some providers (Google, Cloudflare) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Children

ConvertProKit is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
